I opened the salon in January 2005. It is the hardest thing I have ever done but has totally been worth all the hard work, time and effort. I dont see Vanilla as just another salon, we take the time to get to know all our clients personally and have formed close relationships with them. All our clients are very important to us and I think our relaxed friendly atmosphere is what brings people back over and over again.

Hi, I'm Becci

I have been at Vanilla since the salon opened 4 years ago. I was trained in-house by Kelly and have worked my way up to be the salons senior colour technician, as well as doing backing work for Kelly. I have also built up my own cutting client base.

As well as this I also cover a lot of the salons day to day running such as covering the reception when needed. I am known for my organisational skills and some clients say that I am a PA for Kelly as well, as I am always organising her and helping her out around the salon.
Vanilla is a fab place to be.

Hi, I'm Emma

I've been working at Vanilla for 18 months now. I trained at barnsley college and am now qualified to an NVQ level 3. I am now a stylist at Vanilla, and do both colouring and cutting. I enjoy doing fresh funky styles and especially enjoy giving people a complete new look from re-styles. I also do gents colours and cuts.

I have been a hairdresser for nearly 5 years now.

Hi, I'm Tami

I have worked at Vanilla for 3 years, but altogether I have 10 years hairdressing experience. For the past 7 years I have specialised in hair extensions, which I love to do as it gives a whole new look. Even if its just from a few in the front of the hair to a full head!

I work full time as a Creative Director and do everything from unisex work, all colouring and cutting as well as pin-ups
I am proud of my position here at Vanilla, I take pride in all my work and love my job.

Hi, I'm Megan

have worked here for 3 months now. I work on Mondays Fridays and Saturdays on a work experience basis until I leave school next year where then I will become the salons junior. At the moment I shampoo, remove colours along with some reception work. I cant wait to become full time and start my training here at Vanilla.

Hi, I'm Chloe

I have worked at Vanilla for 18 months now. I am the Saturday girl at the moment as well as working Thursdays and Fridays 4 - 7 after school.

When I finish at school in May I will then become the full time junior and begin my training which will be split between here and Leslie Francis. At the moment I do a little blow drying, shampooing and colour removal, along with the general jobs of the salon.
